Only Gleba

All of the scans were wrong. Nauvis isn't what we expected it to be. Vulcanus, Aquilo and Fulgora are all gone. There's Only Gleba.

g Evolution and pollution

In original, pollution is distinguished but in this mod, both enemy evolve by pollution. in here, there is no way that remove or decrease pollution. the only way for safe progression, should be smaller factory without greaten production. this is not so funny, I think there should be some way for decrease pollution i.e. burning tower does not pollute or biochamber has more minus pollution or agriculture tower and plants does not pollute. I use effective module for factory and foundry and using speed for biochamber but pollution makes me so tired.

Hi there,

That's an intentional part of the mod I'm afraid. The good news is that the base game already supports tweaking this - the Advanced map settings for pollution allow you to change how much pollution is absorbed by the environment.

Or you can download another mod that adds in pollution cleaning modules.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for response. I understand that is challange of this mod that you want.
I have one more question. There are only too small stone patches and you lead to scrap for mining stone. but stone is used for both army and production science pack, it take so much of stone, that is challange for even in original nauvis gameplay. But stone is only can gained by stone patch and scrap which you say gain more stone with this way, but scrap gives 4% of stone, it is too few for make science pack. Using quality big mining drill or research scrap and mining production with consume much of stone patches and remove most of byproduction of scrap is intentional part?

I propose that another stone gain method, For example, Vulcanus' another asteroid type, Aquillo's aestroid for product stone, stone bacteria or bioflux catalized with calcite. this can lead better gameplay for larger production or endgame play and consist the concept of gleba -- The resources that doesn't dry up --

thanks

Hi there,

Yeah I think stone is a little too slim in Only Gleba. I've yet to try it out properly, but once it's updated to 2.1 I'm going to give this mod a go: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/slipstacks

This ties in well to Gleba's overall theme. If it works well I might add it as an optional dependency.

Thanks

Hi,

that is so cool method for gaining stone. I like gleba mechanism, i also search as that mod or 'gleba reborn',.... if this problem can solved and updated, this mod can be more cool I think.

I've had good experiences using slipstacks - I like to also disable natural stone patches, so that the slipstacks are the only way to get stone.
They could maybe use some tweaking with the pollution they emit, it's a lot for the amount of stone you get, but otherwise I think they're an interesting farming challenge - they grow slowly and the stone yield is quite low for the amount of space they take up, but on the other hand they are plantable almost anywhere.

Fortunately, The slipstack agriculture mod is updated recently. I tried to use this mod, and this is cool method for earn stone. But I am trying to Million eSPM, it need so much of stone, cannot be satisfied with this agriculture tower. Instead, I tried to using mutated bacteria for make stone, this makes me can earn so many stone with some new mechanism. I recommend this method for tring to make Megabase in this mod. thanks.
