Early on (eg, Nauvis only) I find myself wanting to make a lot of trades and run belts or teleport, rather than use factories to make things. Because of this, it's sometimes difficult to keep track of where everything is, even with map tags. What I often do is open the Trade Overview, apply filters, then click the map icon and teleport there to either trade or build things. It's a little clunky

What I would love is a way to keep a short list of favorite hexes/trades from the Trade Overview screen. Perhaps clicking the >> icon that holds the prod% could turn it golden to flag it as a "favorite trade". There could be a filter on the top right checkboxes to show/hide favorites.

In addition, it would be helpful to search for trades involving an item in one click. Perhaps something like ctrl+lclick or ctrl+rclick in the Catalog view on an item icon would then open the Trade Overview, then apply a simple buy or sell filter for that item (eg any trades involving that item). Perhaps this shortcut could also be used when viewing a hexcore's trades as well.

Another option could be adding hotkeys to open/close the various panels in the top left as well. Even if they start unbound, being able to open things quickly is helpful

Nothing really massive, the mod is already very enjoyable as it is, but I feel this would make a great QOL feature for later big updates

I'll add a trade-favoriting system in 1.4.0. Good idea!

If you click on an item in a trade when viewed in a hex core, it opens the trade overview with that item set as the search filter on the opposite of the trade.

I can add a button to the catalog which opens the currently viewed item in the trade overview. The side in the trade overview will depend on what remains to be done for ranking it up. (I'm not a big fan of adding special controls like control-clicking or right-clicking because it can become a bit much to remember; that's just my experience with other mods that do that, anyway.)

Wouldn't be too hard to add hotkeys for opening the various panels. Also a good idea!
