I just recently updated after being gone a while, and this is what happens when trying to load with this mod:

Failed to load mods: hextorio/data.lua:12: attempt to index field 'main-menu' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
hextorio/data.lua:12: in main chunk

This seems to be an issue caused by using an old version of Factorio. What's your Factorio version?

the most up to date version released

What other mods do you have installed? Do any of them modify game sounds?

I've got too many to count and a lot of them affect sounds in their own ways. I'm also having issues with robot mods not wanting to load either

The error here is that Hextorio is trying to set the title screen music. I can fix this error in 1.2.1, but to fix it right now, you'll have to disable other mods, then go into Hextorio's mod settings for "Title Screen Music" and set that to "Vanilla". Then you can reload the other mods because then Hextorio won't try to do anything with title screen music.

thanks that helped. resetting some settings also helped with my other mod issues I was having, turns out I got around 280ish mods installed lol lot to keep track of

Glad it worked!
