Today i was building my first oil rigs, but the oil doesnt get loaded into the boats for some reason.... Is there a specific point that the pump needs to be to start loading? i do see 2 green circles in the back of the boat, but seeing your image the pump should be roughly in the center of the boat.

i highly recommend underwater pipes mod for this.
(btw that power pole is useless, i just like it)

The oil rig can be moved by one tile so that the pump lines up with the waterway without needing a pipe.

I think the new visuals make the positioning more clear
