during testing PVP mode, we found another missing feature.
Trains are too easy to destroy. And if trains got destroyed outposts getting destroyed easy. (=> no more ammo or uranium for autonome defence)
=> So could you make a Mod which adds Train-Weagons with grid? Then its possible to defence the trains and its more heavy to loot it.
=> in this Mod it would be nice to give Trains mor live or defence. Than it is more expensive to destroy them. (Time is expensive in multiplayer)

If you just want grid on trains (locomotives and wagons), "Vehicle Grid" mod is already doing that.
If you want stronger trains, "Senpais Trains" mod provide that. (Though it adds a lot other things that I never used.)

Maybe I can add a heavy armoured locomotive and wagon, with better health and damage resistances. It will have more weight and slower acceleration.
It is currently uninteresting to mod trains, because no turrets (other than hard-coded artillery wagon) can be used in trains. Hope after 0.17 release in March, there will be more features I can use.

I have made Schall Armoured Train especially for you. Please leave me some comments on what needs to be adjusted. Those locomotives and cargo wagons have better resistances, more health, and grids, like what is done to the tanks.

I have tried to add something like "armoured draisines", which are tanks fitted with railroad wheels. I tried several methods to mount a gun (rather than the hardcoded artillery wagon gun), but no success. The current 0.16.51 does not allow this at all. I will see if they could be added in 0.17, but I am not optimistic about that.
