b [Not a bug] Mods mismatch in multiplayer

Mods mismatch detected!

IndustrialRevolution3: Mod contents are different even though the versions are the same. The most common cause of this is improper mod setting usage (conditionally requiring files based on mod settings) on the client or server but not the other. This can also be caused by modifying mod files on the client or server but not the other.

Although I'm on Linux and the other player is on Windows, we tried copying the entirety of each other's mod files, instead of locally repacking the mod, but we still get this issue; in both cases, it's specifically these three mods causing the issue. Have other players run into this MP error? I have a MacBook, and a separate Linux machine; I can try setting up a MP game between my machines at home, or figure out if the patching script can be made to be reproducible (as of now, each platform uses a different ZIP compressor, adds timestamps to the output file, …).

UPDATE: false alarm; while testing the unpacker I left an unzipped version of the mod in my mods directory, and Factorio was using that older version instead; please disregard.

Phew, I thought I was in trouble for a minute!

I have never officially tested multiplayer, so I was going to post to say that it might not work at all. I went to boot up my spare Linux machine (it's old and it takes ages to load the game) and I can confirm that MP does work with it.

Due to the nature of the Patchset not changing the underlying version numbers, you'll have to be a little careful or you end up with errors like this.

That's nice to hear about Windows working as well.
