As we all know, IR3 has Advanced Fluid Handling by staplergun mod support in factorio v1
This is not true, IR3's code has no references to AFH. If AFH worked with IR3 in 1.1, it must have been from AFH's side or due to a third-party mod.
However, the Patchset has support for AFH. From the Compatibility page:
Advanced Fluid Handling is unlocked with Steel analysis packs. Only Tier 3 pipes can be made.
EDIT:
yes i know i can run it if i just comment "required('advanced fluid handling')" in mods.lua or comment problem lines in "advanced flui handling.lua", but then i lost able to connect pipes or lost some recipes or both
Oh, you just want to have the Tier 1 and 2 technologies back?
Commenting out require("port.mods.advanced-fluid-handling") at the end of port/updates/mods.lua is enough to restore the default behaviour of AFH, which should still be playable.
If you're wondering why I made these particular changes to AFH, it's solely for balancing reasons. Fluids are used all throughout IR3, and I feel that this powerful type of pipe should be unlocked a bit later in the progression.
Also, I didn't like that the recipes require components from the previous tier. IR3 doesn't tend to do recipes that way, so I condensed all the tiers into one.
