Hey ran into a major error when trying to go into orbit to interact with a space platform with my Vtol, I also noticed I can land on my space platform, but can't leave the hub without a major crash

I'm not having any issues using the VTOL to go into orbit or entering/leaving the hub and I can't immediately see what could cause this. Does the crash always occur or only under certain conditions? Do you use any mods and does the problem persist if you disable them?

I mainly use this mod and infinite resources, Fluid Must flow, Flare stack, VeichleSnap, Upcycler, Flare stack along with the Armored Biters mod

Ive disabled them all except colony mod and no dice

I too have encountered this error. I found it is caused by having a ghost placed in the inventory or grid of the VOTL when trying to land or take-off.

So I realized I did have a copper wire ghost in my inventory and removed it and still ran into the crash, although I decided to do some testing in the sandbox. It looks like any time AFTER placing a ghost in your inventory you run into the crash, but otherwise, the error is never run into. you can even respawn and as long as your previous inventory had a ghost in it, the game crashes when entering space or stepping onto a space platform

Placing a ghost in the grid of a VTOL crashes the game. However it is a different crash than is reported here. This problem should be fixed in the latest patch.

I cannot reproduce the crash you are experiencing by placing a ghost in the inventory of a VTOL, so a fix for this issue still eludes me.

@Ashthrower: This is a different issue then what is being discussed here. This crash is caused by an Acquisition service not having a logistic section. This issue should be fixed in the latest patch.

I encounter this error too, and in my experience, it appears to be related to attempting to go into orbit to access a different space platform than the one you initially accessed with a VTOL. So -

Let's say you made Platform 1 on Nauvis, then used the VTOL to access it. You then moved that platform to Vulcanus, and made a new platform (Platform 2) on Nauvis. When attempting to access Platform 2, you will crash. However, if you attempt to access Platform 1 on Vulcanus, you'll be fine. In most cases, you won't crash when attempting to access the surface from that VTOL, however.

I haven't really been able to reproduce this crash. I am a bit pressed for time now but I will try to look into it further at some later time.
