b [FIXED?] Menu simulation crash for unknown reason

It happens when menu simulation cycle to a specific one,but logs can't check which it is.
other mods enabled,but only enabled this will cause crash.

wouldn't happen after I change some video setting and restart the game.

Since crash logs are automatically sent to Wube, Wube in theory knows about this and is working on a fix. I haven't heard other reports of this happening, so do let me know if it becomes a problem.

I can confirm this, I am encountering it as well.

It happens when cycling through the menu simulations, after starting up 2.0.28 (build 81088 expansion, win64) with only the following mods in the mod directory:
- Cerys-Moon-of-Fulgora_0.5.10.zip
- Surfaces-Have-Temperature_1.1.0.zip

The game reproducibly crashes within a few minutes in the menu.

Can you check your video setting for my testing?

To me,above setting will not cause crash
video-memory-usage=all
if this set to low , game crash after random seconds as above report.

Additional nvidia driver version info:
Initialised OpenGL:[0] NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070/PCIe/SSE2; driver: 3.3.0 NVIDIA 566.36

My setting was: Video Memory Usage = Medium

Driver:
0.434 Initialised Direct3D[0]: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti; id: 10de-2182; driver: nvldumdx.dll 32.0.15.6094

I have just set Video Memory Usage = All and restarted the game, and it ran the menu simulations for half an hour without issues.

This bug may possibly have been fixed in 0.6.18 which reworks some code to avoid running into a base game bug.

New response
