Zar's Nuclear Tweaks
This mod offers many options to tweak mechanics related to Nuclear Power. Several of them are useful for simply reducing the enormous waiting times involved with the setup of nuclear energy.
Configurable options:
- U-235 Chance: Change the probability of getting U-235 from Uranium Processing (range: 0-1).
- U-235 Catalyst Amount: Change min. required amount of U-235 for the Kovarex Process to run (range: 1-40).
- Nuclear Fuel Stack Size: Change stack size of Nuclear Fuel for all inventories (range: 1-10).
- Fuel Cell Iron Recycling: Recover some or all Iron Plates that went into producing the Uranium Fuel Cells when reprocessing their spent result.
Other options:
- Simple Uranium Mining: Move the need for Sulfuric Acid from the mining stage to a new Yellow Cake production stage in an Assembler Mk2+ (see images).
- Non-Greedy Kovarex Process: Make the Centrifuge take only the ingredients for the Kovarex Process needed for the next production cycle.
- Lossless Nuclear Reactor: Scale energy usage of the Nuclear Reactor so no fuel is wasted when the maximum temperature has been reached.
- Oil-free Nuclear Fuel: Remove the need for Rocket Fuel from the Nuclear Fuel recipe, along with the relevant tech prerequisite.
- Lower Nuclear Building Cost: Reduce current cost of Nuclear Reactor and Centrifuge by 20%.
- Lower Nuclear Tech Cost: Reduce current cost of researching Uranium Ammo (by 20%), Nuclear Power (by 25%) and the Kovarex Process (by 50%).
