Every time I change the settings of other mods, or remove, update, or add a mod, the ring teleporter loses its connection to the other teleporters. I then have to reposition them all. When removing teleporters, the graphic freezes, and I have to reposition them on the graphic so that I can make them disappear completely after removing them again. As long as the mod list isn't updated, the connections remain after saving.

I'm suspecting this is a problem with 0.4.0 by https://mods.factorio.com/user/1000101
I advise testing version 0.3.2, perhaps it will be more stable.

As another possible remedy, edit control.lua and remove "remap_teleporters()" line from:

script.on_configuration_changed( function()
remap_teleporters()
storage.power_per_teleport = Util.power_per_teleport()
end )

When I have more time I'll try looking into the issues.

What do you mean it "loses connection to the other teleporters"? It doesn't have any "connections" to lose. That being said, a teleportation can be interrupted during the save/load process or a manual invocation of the remap_teleporters() function from the console - but that functionality happened in 0.3.x too.

Can you give more details as to the exact problem and steps to reproduce the issue?

I can't say whether other mods are interfering with the teleporter because I have over 400 mods and 60 planets running. My problem is that when I open the teleporter menu, I can no longer see the other teleporters. They only reappear after I've re-placed them. If I manually remove them, I can no longer select them, but the graphic is still visible. I can only remove them with the Rubber Tool or place the teleporter over them. All of this happens when I change mod settings, update, add, or remove mods, and then load the save game. If I don't change any mods, the teleporter works normally after loading the save Game. That's all I can say. Sorry.

hmm, that doesn't give much to go on; could you at least post your mod list somewhere? Maybe something can be gleaned from that.
