I finally figured out the remote construction feature of your modâitâs really creative. Iâd like to share some personal feedback.
First, you need a detailed explanation. The description on your mod page and the inâgame instructions arenât clear enough. Your jump tower is basically an interplanetary remote facility: within a certain radius around the tower, you can build or demolish automatically without robots, acting as an alternative to drones. The fact that it doesnât stand out in areas already covered by drones left me really confused about what it was actually for. I suggest adding an animation to demonstrate how it works.
Second, Iâve only unlocked up to Tier 2 so far. Building oneâbyâone feels too slow. Could you add an option to finish construction instantly? That would make it feel truly advantageous.
Third, if the player character can teleport, why canât this structure be deployed directly into space? If I can run over and build it manually, then my robots and resources should already be there tooâthis feature feels halfâbaked.
Speaking of resources: I suggest adding a resource station building that works on other planets. Otherwise, you have to ship everything to the towerâs planet for remote construction, and I might as well just use the vanilla robots.
Of course, Iâm using your mod alongside other large planet mods. I donât know if that other author made changesâthey only mentioned making compatibility adjustments. With 290 mods combined, compatibility issues are normal.
Lastly, please improve your instructions. To be honest, theyâre pretty misleading. You need to nuke a vault to get magma, Guardians only spawn in highârisk areas, and you have to grind a long battle to refresh the jump tower. Iâve played this planet at least 5 times with various large planet mods, and I only figured out how your mod works after someone in the community mentioned it and I tested it in the editor. Itâs pretty frustrating
