Neural Spider Control

Neural Spidertron Control allows players to seamlessly transfer their consciousness between Spidertrons and Locomotives remotely piloting just like the engineer. Take full command of the vehicles abilities, including weaponry, inventory management, and enhanced performance, while staying neurally linked. Perfect for those looking to explore a remotely manage without actually needing to travel there!

Key Features

Neural Transfer: Transfer your consciousness to a Spidertron or Locomotive and control it remotely, with the ability to transfer back to your player character at any time.
Extended Reach and Speed: While neurally linked, enjoy extended reach for resource interaction, item pickup, and mining, along with double the normal mining speed.
Spidertron Inventory Integration: Pick-up items, craft, and interact with the world around as normal.
Weapon Control: Full control over Spidertron weaponry, including any mounted armaments.
Damage and Death Handling: Seamlessly handle the death or destruction of the vehicle or engineer, with inventory spills, auto-respawn, and a return to the engineer character.

Shortcuts and Controls

SHIFT + TAB: to open the Neural Control Centre to link direct into any drivable Spider.
Or connect directly from the Spiders GUI
SHIFT + E: Open the Spidertron's inventory while piloting.
Disconnect: By pressing enter to leave the Spider or from the Neural Control Centre.
Automatic Disconnects: If the engineer takes damage or dies, or the Spidertron is destroyed, the player will automatically transfer back to the engineer for safety.

-Spiderbots: Connect into Spiderbots!
-Spiderdrones: Connect into Spiderdrones!

Caution!

This mod is still in the early stages of development and may not work with other Spidertron mods
- Spidertron Docks: Please undock the Spider before connecting - if you connect before - shift + tab to disconnect and then undock the Spider
- Spidertron Enhancements: As amazing as the enhancements mod is - it does break features of this mod.
