g Agricultural Tower Quality?

So I'm posting a lot and it's not to be annoying, but because I really enjoy the Quality mechanic and this is a great mod.

Basically what I'm posting about now is the Ag Towers. Is it possible to make them swing faster with higher quality?

Don't worry, you are not annoying my. I'm glad you enjoy the mod.

I could improve the swing speed, but that seems unlikely to have a big impact on their practical usefulness. Improving growth rate isn't possible without performance impact (runtime scripting), but maybe I should add some range scaling as well?
A 3/3/4/4/5 (/8 at quality_level=10, ie. prismatic/mythic quality) radius scaling seems plausible, yet still very powerful. (49/49/81/81/121 (/289) in terms of area, including the footprint of the tower). With the speed scaling, plants that don't saturate harvesting capacity of normal ATs wouldn't saturate that of the larger ones either, unless one uses quality levels above legendary. Alternatively, I could increase the speed quadratically, so it scales proportionally to area for arbitrary qualities?

Could we get an increase in the harvest area as well

Uncommon: Increased swing speed
Rare: Increased swing speed + an extra harvest square all around
Epic: Increased swing speed
Legendary: Increased swing speed + an extra harvest square all around

I don't know if this would be possible, but it would prevent it from becoming insanely powerful in regards to overall harvesting. Still quite powerful though.

Yes, it's possible. I think I'll add options similar to mining drills: none/speed/area/both

For the last case, the remaining question is how fast the speed should scale: with the default speed formula (+30% per level), for rare and legendary ATs, the minimum growth time without backlog is approximately the same as for normal ATs, while uncommon and epic could deal with slightly more quickly growing plants. At higher levels (like the prismatic/mythic quality at level 10), the quadratic area increase would outpace the speed increase, meaning that eventually, you'd have to place towers with some overlap for optimal production per area.

If both, keep it so the overall speed is only like a 50% increase. Not sure for the just speed though. Linear perhaps?

I added a simple "both" option with 30% speed per quality (like the speed only option), and a "both (area)" one where speed scales with available area (though uncommon/epic still have speeds inbetween the area-increasing levels).
