It says in the title only the most basic technologies, but the steam and wood sciencepacks are added to almost all technologies and with not easy rocket launches towards nauvis to begin it makes it very hard to progress early game. Can't it stay to only most basic (lignumis exclusive). Or add some lategame powerfull technology (like sciencepack productivity or something else)

There is a setting for that. Disabling it might be more your taste.

no, it's fine for me, I have already reached past that, but maybe enable by default.
