g 1.0.34 new enemies for existing saves?

Hi there; you clearly state that those new enemies only work for new games; however, I'm not familiar with how Factorio works there - is it possible in any way that you know that I can enable them for my existing save? Or is there a chance that they could appear when new chunks are reveiled when expanding my line of sight further out?

Hi. I'm sure it would be possible to replace the biters with the new enemies with some kind of script. But I'm not experienced enough with runtime scripting to do that without experiencing major pain :-)
What works is removig the whole planet surface and regenerate it (you can do that in the editor). But that would remove your existing base.
What does not work is the mod "Regenerate Terrain". It will regenerate with biters again.
Newly revealed chunks won't have the new enemies on them.

Thanks a lot for your response! Left Lignumis some time ago to Nauvis, then been to Muluna, and now I need to head back to Lignumis to get that steam science working at scale. :-) It's fun with multiple planet mods, though I fear it will break miserably some time in the future, but well :-)
Maybe I'll indeed regenerate the whole Lignumis surface, since I guess I'll... rework my starter base there completely anyway. :-)
