g BZ Lead compat

When playing with BZ Lead, Lead Ore it should be on Lignumis. This should remove the gold pipes from the game. When BZ Lead is inplay pipes are made from lead instead of iron (recipes that would need to be changed are the steam assembler and the desiccation furnace). Could probably remove wooden ammo as well. Wooden belts will still remain as iron is not on Lignumis. You could change the copper processing tech to allow you to collect copper ore from the Lead plate recipe(It normaly does). Either a new recipe or a script to remove copper from your bag or entity inventories on Lignumis if the tech is not researched. Alternatively just let it pile up and a "waste" product that you can't do anything with until you get to nauvis. If you want pipes to look gold on lignumis you can create a script to replace placed lead pipes with the gold varient, another script to replace picked up gold pipe entities with lead pipes. Im not 100% sure how bots will handle this but ill test it one day.

Wooden industry-
The Tech "Wood pyrolysis" should be in the Lignimis tech tree not the nauvis tech tree. After all Lignumis is the wood planet. This gives you charcoal (and wood chips) which is an ingredient for lead smelting. Charcoal should also be a fuel for the Lignumis buildings. Sure it complicates things but that's what BZ Lead is trying to do.

BZ Tin-
Tin should not be available on Lignumis. This makes it so solder is an ingredient in Pipe to ground. Once again makes Lignumis harder but not in any real effect. Solder normaly is added to the "Wood pyrolysis" tech when the "wooden industry" mod is active however that tech too early(with the above change) for solder so solder needs to be unlocked in a differeent tech or its own tech.

AAI Industry-
"Basic fluid handling" needs to be made earlier(Maybe replace gold fluid handling). The Offshore pump can be added to the "steam power" tech. I'd like to see Lignumis water changed to mineral water. Same ingredient recipe's but you could add a few recipes to convert mineral water to other things.

Edit: Extra effect- the starting crash site should have lead plates instead of wood plank.

About the compatibility with lead and tin: I think that moves the mod too far from what I want it to be. Since I see no incompatibility, I think I'll leave it as is. Though anyone is free to make a separate mod to add more complexity to Lignumis.

AAI Industry:
""Basic fluid handling" needs to be made earlier": Why is that?
"I'd like to see Lignumis water changed to mineral water": I don't like that idea. You need regular water for steam. I really want Lignumis to be that simple early game planet (even when you come back after Nauvis, it shouldn't get too complex). So more complex processes are not wanted. Other mods do that already for the mid/late game. That could be changed by a separate mod or a configuration in the settings, but currently I'm not motivated to do that.

I see that, when adding a lot of additional mods for more complexity, adding some of that additional complexity also to Lignumis might be a good idea. I would probably start such a game and see what makes sense. But currently my focus is different.

Anyway, I'm thankful for your thoughts. It shows me that you like the mod. Even though I'm not implementing any of the ideas right now, they can be inspiration for the future.

The entire post was based on the idea that BZ Lead being made compatible. without that being done most of the post can be ignored. "basic fluid handling" included

I do like the mod, It has grown on me. The mod succeeds without my input but i want alittle more compatability with other common popular mods. The BZ suite being one i almost always play with

Maybe I'll do some more at some point as I like Brevven's mods as well.
