The burner agricultural towers do not get refueld anymore. I use the exact blueprint that's also depicted in the Image of the description of the mod.

Tried every leech mod to see if this makes a difference but no. Seems the inserter is always picking up the seeds and not the peats (except for itself). Is this a known issue?

It seems this is only true for the wood chain, the gold chain works with the stromatolites (exact same blueprint)

That seems to be an engine thing. I had that problem from the beginning. The secret lies in the order of the items on the belt. It's important that the peat in on the bottom (left hand side) of the belt. Then it works for me.
