Description: An early, cheap but not very efficient air transport declined in 4 versions: cargo, bombing , special operations and gunship.
The Special Operations version is a, slightly faster and tougher version, with a bigger grid.
The bomber is a bomber in a classical sense of it: drops various types of custom bombs. May self-destruct in certain cases.
The gunship is a relatively heavy and slow combat craft that carries a heavy, fast firing, cannon. While not very cost-effective, it can save the day!

Story: A moderately-effective cargo unit adapted for other tasks in 2 specialized versions.
In it's Cargo version: a nimble, cheap but fuel hungry air transportation unit. Is relatively vulnerable.
In it's Bomber version: a classic bomber that needs preparation before - and sometimes during - usage to be effective.
The balance between fuel and bomb-load may be important to succeed.
In it's Special Operation version: gets a bigger grid for various doubious installations, a minor speed, armor upgrade and a greatly reduced cargo.
The Cargo and Special Operations versions can be useful as a player-controlled vehicle.
For the Gunship... Well, another attempt was made to slowdown extremely the turret to create a "forward-firing vehicle"... When tested in real combat - it showed to be very hazardous in use and required only the highest dps.
N.B.: The tech positionning of these units may change in the near future - moving them further away from the starting technologies.
Aswell as the cost, which might increase.
Must admit that flying in formations over bigger nests & dropping tonns of not very efficient, impredictable bombs can be very satisfying.
