Very simple mod that simply walks through every prerequisite technology, beginning with the Rocket Silo, and sets their status to researched, before researching the Rocket Silo itself.
Compatibility
Tested compatibility with Lignumis and Any Planet Start.
Should be compatible with almost any mods, so long as the Rocket Silo technology is not outright removed (though that would probably cause issues with other mods before this one even has a change to load). The technology auto research script runs during control.lua (specifically on_player_joined_game and on_cutscene_cancelled)
Important Notes
This mod does not provide the player with any additional items. Please use one of the following mods for that:
- Crash Start Settings: Adds customizable shipwreck generator, assembler, and lab.
My personal (completely unbiased) recommendation. - Schall Starting Inventory: More serious unbiased recommended pick. Very customizable and fine-tuned start.
- How It Should Have Started/Kux Speedy Bot Start: Adds custom 1x1 solar panel, exoskeleton, and roboport, and adds 3 equipment slots to basic armor in order to fit the custom equipment. These equipments should remove themselves after researching equivalent technology.
- Start With Nanobots: Simply adds nanobots to the starting inventory.
- Faster Start: Power Armor, fusion reactor, exoskeletons, roboport, construction bots, and mass basic resources, including red belts, blue inserters, steel furnaces, t2 assemblers, electric drills, and medium/large power poles.
- Robot Quick Start: Power Armor MK2 with personal reactors, exoskeletons, and both kinds of bots.
- Script Config Start: Relatively basic starting item presets, including belts, pipes, t1 assemblers, stone furnaces, burner drills, steam engines, and up to a car at the highest level.
- Light Bot Start: Modular Armor, roboport, construction bots, personal batteries/solar panels. Also optional cliff explosives, landfill, and car.
- Acorn's Bot Start: Modular Armor, roboport, bots, and equipment to power them.
- Builder Bot Start: Power Armor MK2, roboport MK2, personal reactors, portable battery/solar panel, night vision, belt immunity, exoskeletons, construction bots.
- Bot Train Power Start: Start with an infinity storage chest which provides infinite train materials, pumps, substations, logistic chests, combinators, roboports, and bots. Most cheaty
