Industrial Hoppers adds elevated industrial storage containers that work directly with transport belts, combining material transportation, automatic buffering, and storage in a single structure.

Unlike ordinary chests, hoppers are placed above real, functioning conveyor belts. Items continue moving underneath them without interruption. When a belt becomes congested or reaches a dead end, the hopper automatically collects stalled items. Once the downstream route becomes available, stored materials are released back onto the belts. No artificial conveyor speeds or replacement transport systems. Everything operates using the actual belts installed beneath the structure. All logistic variants use native Factorio logistic container functionality, including requests, filters, and robot interactions.
