Configurable Nukes & ICBMs

Makes most/many aspects of the atomic bomb configurable, and affected by quality, as well as allows for the weaponization of rocket-silos. Allows for custom payloads created from almost any ammo or capsule item, as well as introduces dedicated warhead payloads (atomic, "Rods from God", Jericho, Mjölnir), ICBMs (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles), IPBMs (Interplanetary Ballistic Missiles), and ISBMs (Interstellar Ballistic Missiles). Why shouldn't rocket-silo rockets be used offensively?

g [Can't replicate] FPS Drop (0.?.?)

Hi,
when I Nuke a Nest with ICBM, the framerate drops on 1 fps for 20 seconds or so.

Hello! Apologies for the issue, but thanks for the report.

Just want to confirm a few things:

  • Which version are you using?
  • Is this when launching an ICBM or when the payload is delivered?
  • What kind of payload are you launching/delivering? A dedicated warhead, or a custom ammo filled payload-vehicle?

Hi,

its happening when the bomb explodes, when the payload is 3 nuclear warheads the game freezes for 20 seconds. when I use one warhead its like 1-3fps for 10 seconds, so I guess its just to much to calculate. Is there any way to fix this for me? already changed the graphic settings to low etc

Viele Grüße

Hmm, do you mind sharing what you have the AoE and Repeat settings configured to?

Additionally, do you have the Fire Wave setting enabled? Disabling that should also help to improve performance if it's enabled.

I'm wondering if perhaps it is a hardware issue? With my machine, when the payload is the same as above (3 nuclear warheads/atomic-warheads), and the Fire Wave setting is enabled, it only lags slightly on delivery (FPS/UPS stutters/drops below 60 for 1-2 seconds).

For reference, here are some of my machine's specs:

  • AMD Ryzen 9 9950X 16-Core Processor, 4300 Mhz
  • AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
  • 64 GB DDR5 RAM, 4800 MHz

Marking this as Cannot replicate for the time being.
