Configurable Nukes & ICBMs


Makes most/many aspects of the atomic bomb configurable, and affected by quality, as well as allows for the weaponization of rocket-silos. Allows for custom payloads created from almost any ammo or capsule item, as well as introduces dedicated warhead payloads (atomic, "Rods from God", Jericho, Mjölnir), ICBMs (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles), IPBMs (Interplanetary Ballistic Missiles), and ISBMs (Interstellar Ballistic Missiles). Why shouldn't rocket-silo rockets be used offensively?

hey me again, thanks for the previous help and patch but I got a new issue and I'm not sure if maybe I'm doing something wrong but when I launch anything via remote, like a payload with something in it or just a bomb(atomic bomb, atomic warhead I do have the setting on for old launching method) everything works as intended but when the payload is supposed to be delivered it seem to not drop the intended item put in the payload. I tried putting warheads and atomic bombs and for some reason they go way way way off target and drop one thing(cant see what it is) and it damaged a big bitter to about half health.

thanks again for the help previously, I hope this can get resolved quickly.

edit: this issue is only in multiplayer from the small amount of testing I did
even in single player the ipbm doesn't work across space exploration planets

Hello again! Apologies for the issue(s), but thanks for the report! Will definitely try and look into the issues you're mentioning.

First thought on the payloads not being delivered to where they are targeted, what level of Guidance Systems have you researched? Have you changed any of the related guidance systems startup/runtime settings? And lastly, if you enable the Perfect Guidance setting, do they still miss the intended target?

As far as the IPBM not working across space-exploration planets, I can't seem to replicate that issue; that is, in my testing, I am able to launch rockets/deliver payloads between surfaces - have tested both on an existing save, and with a fresh save.

Given I can't recreate the issue on my end presently, I am unsure how to diagnose/fix the potential issue.

If you are able and willing to share a save in which you are experiencing this issue, that would be greatly appreciated, as it would better allow me determine what the root issue may be.

edit: nevermind I found the issue its an conflict between "combat mechanics overhaul" and your mod, a mechanic of combat overhaul is to make rockets hit trees and the payload when loaded on top of its target will descend and hit a tree but instead of exploding it acts as a regular rocket and destroys the tree. its an easy fix since there a setting to disable that mechanic.

Thanks for identifying which mod was causing the issue(s) - I had wondered to what extent that setting might affect things, but hadn't gotten around to testing it given other priorities at the time. Apologies for not getting to it sooner, but thank you for bringing it to my attention. I believe I have an appropriate fix in place, but am testing further - planning on including a fix/compatibility with the next release.
