Configurable Nukes & ICBMs


Makes most/many aspects of the atomic bomb configurable, and affected by quality, as well as allows for the weaponization of rocket-silos. Allows for custom payloads created from almost any ammo or capsule item, as well as introduces dedicated warhead payloads (atomic, "Rods from God", Jericho, Mjölnir), ICBMs (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles), IPBMs (Interplanetary Ballistic Missiles), and ISBMs (Interstellar Ballistic Missiles). Why shouldn't rocket-silo rockets be used offensively?

Subject: Sprite Size Error in configurable-nukes (0.9.4) Causing Mod Loading Failure
Hi,
I'm encountering a mod loading error in Factorio, and the log points to the configurable-nukes (version 0.9.4) mod. The error message states:
The given sprite rectangle (left_top=0x0, right_bottom=71x38) is outside the actual sprite size (left_top=0x0, right_bottom=64x64).
If this is being used as an icon you may need to define the icon_size property.
The issue occurs with the file configurable-nukes/graphics/icons/empty.png. As a result, the game has automatically disabled a number of dependent mods, including:

Could you please look into this sprite size mismatch issue? It would be great if you could release a fix to ensure compatibility with the current Factorio version.

Hello! Apologies for the error, but thanks for the report!

I will definitely look into the issue and work implement a fix. Hopefully I can fit it in with the next release/bug-fix patch I've been working on.

Just want to confirm though, if you have only this mod enabled (and it's dependencies), does the game load for you?

Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been testing the relevant mods. It has been confirmed that the incompatibility is caused by AAI Loaders. However, when testing the in-game effects, I found that cross-planet missile launching doesn’t work: missiles can be fired and reach their destination, but they do not explode. I am currently mainly using Space Exploration and Krastorio 2

No worries, not a problem - thank you for identifying which mod is potentially causing the compatibility/startup issue!

I just ran some tests on my end, to which I've unfortunately been unable to recreate either the startup icon error; or the issue of payloads not delivering properly. This is to say, when I had only the following mods present, I did not encounter the mentioned issues:

An update: confirmed from another user and recreating it myself, if you disable the "Fit assembling machines" startup setting available with aai-loaders, the game should load with configurable-nukes present.

Still looking into more complete compatibility.
