Adds massive cargo ships to the game, that function similarly to trains. Also adds tanker ships, train bridges. NOTE: In 2.1, You Must Install Oil Rigs Separately!
Hello, I've done enough research to know that waterways must be placed and how to place them, but I still can't put the cargo ship down on a straight waterway.
Running SE + K2, cargo ship just stays red and says "Cargo ship must be placed on rails"
I'm not sure what to look for in regards to debugging, thanks.
Sorry, I read in more detail and it looks like you’ve already discovered the waterway shortcut button. Maybe try a longer stretch of (straight) waterway for placing your ship on?
I've tried straight stretches ~4x longer than the cargo ship (North-south , East-West), giving it lots of room on either side, with and without placing the port on the track.
I believe I've resolved it. I don't know where the conflict exists but 'Cargo ships' is not compatible with 'DMV - Directional Movement Vehicles'.
Once removed from the server, I was able to place the ship fine!
