Adds massive cargo ships to the game, that function similarly to trains. Also adds tanker ships, train bridges. NOTE: In 2.1, You Must Install Oil Rigs Separately!
I'm interested in trying the deep sea oil rigs; if this mod is added to an existing map / save... will the deep sea oil nodes be generated? I'm not too far into this playthrough, but I was adjusting mods and can't remember if a) I didn't have this installed or b) I'm just really unlucky when it comes to nodes. If anyone can offer tips or guidance, that'd be great.
You can, but you need to run the /regenerate-oil command to get deep sea oil in chunks that are already generated. This will have the side effect of restoring all your land oil deposits to their original production levels too.
