The error message is confusing. What it is actually looking for is an Offshore Oil deposit where you place the oil rig (entity name "deep_oil"). For some reason, you have a single land-type oil well (entity name "crude-oil") in the water. It shouldn't be there. Any idea how it got there?

no idea I haven't done any map editing, I almost thought that I wouldn't be able to find any after looking around I feel like there should be more deposits then just that one.
Perhaps that is a bug with the map generation. The only settings I messed with as far as resource generation was just turning up the richness on the angel infinite deposits.
I guess ill see if I can find another deposit somewhere and see if It does the same thing.
