How is the difficulty of mod events calculated?

• WDM Expansion features a dynamic threat-level scaling system. The complexity and strength of all custom events adapt in real-time based on your currently researched technologies and the planet's global evolution factor.

Can I add this mod to an existing save?

• Yes, you can. However, I highly recommend starting a new game. The expansion significantly builds upon the entire progression loop, and adding it mid-game will may violate the gameplay experience.

Is the mod optimized? How does it impact UPS?

• Optimization was a top priority during development. Under normal circumstances, you will barely notice any performance impact. When no active events are running on the map, the mod's performance footprint on your UPS is practically zero.

The mod is too hard! Can I disable or tweak specific events?

• Yes. Most expansion-specific events can be customized or entirely disabled via the Mod Settings menu before starting. Please note that this only affects custom events — vanilla game events will remain unchanged.

Does the expansion work in multiplayer?

• Yes, multiplayer is fully supported and optimized.

I encountered a bug / error / crash. What should I do?

• Please head over to the Discussions tab on the mod portal or join our Discord server. Provide a brief description of what happened and attach your save file so I can investigate and fix it quickly.
