The drones still consider Dectorio Landscaping tiles as viable road. So they go the shortest posible route ignoring buildings and such. Since the drones can skip one tile which is non-road tile and move across it. Placing stone brick foundations make them go around.

Other issues related to Landscaping tiles. When first loading empty road network ( no depots, no roads tiles ) the loading of savegame took a while. And when it loaded i got something like this Reset road network - 87625.623500ms

I am using MD2R mining drones which are working fine but ... Cant place them on Dirt 4, Green grass. (and maybe other landscapeing tiles)

I'm not sure which tiles exactly from Dectorio you would want not considered as roads? to make sure i get it right

Features:
- Added Dectorio compatibility: gravel, wood floor, and concrete grid tiles are treated as transport drone roads (paint and landscaping tiles excluded).

This is NOT true. Would be sufficient yes. But the drones still goes all over the map.

For the test :
- I am using Nilaus 100x100 city block. (~3 chunks away)
- Place suply depot in NW corner and
- Place Request depot in SE corner.

make a delivery and watch the drone.

I have created my One drive connection. hope it will work. Should be accesible for anyone with this key.

Even it is unfinished road network. But try make delivery with steel plates or place another request depot and try to find fuel drone.
The drones are using bob-sour-gas

Testing version 2.0.35

It seems to fix offroading across map. But the drones seems to have hard time finding best route to destination. They try go offroad but cant. so they circling in spot or turn around mid road. But eventualy they find theyr way to destination. It does not matter if they can or cannot use diagonal non-road tile.

Oh and i am not mentioning that i lost 2 mining depot connected via Dectorio gravel tiles with the update. but this happened also before. Asphalt roads around entry to mining depot seem work fine.

Careful gravel tiles are not considered roads anymore, but you can add them back, or any tile, by updating the settings for it,
from ^Arci%-,^dect%-concrete%-grid$,@py-tiles to ^Arci%-,^dect%-concrete%-grid$,@py-tiles,%-gravel$
which now allows dealing with any tile from any mod

Thanks for the heads up. but the issue with disapering depots was also before, Before all these changes to support new tiles as roads. I think meglinge fork have this issue also.

It is like when depot is placed on non-road tile it may disapear after mod change.

The long distance routes work fine. Just some smaller routes may have problem of pathfining.

Should probably be a different issue report..
But yea when you start getting in to the dozens of depots or more.. random supply or request depot just disappear out of nowhere and you find out because a random supply line stops. This was also a issue in 1.0 days but i dont recall it being as often.

I remember some of that when you removed the roads connected to the depot, or replaced them, could it be related?

In my case I need to add the note that my game play is usually multiplayer (only 2 people total) so it might factor or might not.

When i had depots dissapear on me it was usually when neither player was around

Example it might have happend on a planet one of us was on, or a planet neither of us was on.

One I had recalled was.
I was on Nauvis and my friend was over on Fulgora.
after a few hours we noticed our platforms bringing in resources from Vulcanus to either of our planets was lacking or missing.
going over to Vulcanus we saw almost everything stopped because one of the primary depots for iron plate was just... gone..
neither of us had been on or interacted directly with vulcanus at that point for around 3-4 ingame hours.

in 1.0 days we would be in a save and after 100 hours or so we noticed 3 or 4 random depots we setup like 50hrs ago was just missing for some rason.

For additional context both times the game save probably had a few 100 (or even 1000+) trucks.. and 100's of depots.

No matter what I do - trucks always go offroad - straight line - water, buildings, grass, trees - they go just straight ahead. 2.0.37.
Is this correct behaviour?

Playing with Space Exploration and Krastorio 2 - heavy modded...

you will probably need to share a save file if you have heavy modded that could be other conflicting issues
