Schall Remains & Pickup


Inventory items and grid equipment inside destroyed containers, like chests, vehicles (cars, tanks), will now spill over ground, instead of simply vanish. Adds a hotkey to pick items on ground with adjustable pickup radius. (Locale: English, Deutsch, 正體中文, 简体中文, Русский, Português Brasileiro)

I don't understand what this should achieve? having a mod option or hotkey to disable another hotkey?

in most cases there is no need to disable a hotkey in the mod options:
you simply rightckick the key in the hotkey control settings, and this disables it.

or is this intended so that an admin can disable it in the mod options for all players in a MP game, and nobody has the free choice of setting or disabling it ?

I could understand his/her request, since someone may feel this pickup feature is OP or something in a multiplayer game. I would implement this as a "runtime-global" option so to forcefully disable this hotkey function for all players, where only the host of multiplayer server can reenable it.
If you have a better suggestion to implement that or any comments, please reply in the above link. (To reserve this thread for John_TheCF or others for Russian translations.)

The two settings are about the "style/shape" of remains placement. It is hard to explain the options in text, so I have provided screenshots to describe what I am doing, shown on FAQ section.
