The technology requires Space Science packs to research. But it does not have the space science pack technology as a prerequisite, which I think is quite odd. The technology is listed as researchable as soon as automated rail transfer has been researched, which can be as early as having just automation and logistic science packs available. That means it's sitting in the tech tree listed as researchable for ages while the player is actually unable to research it because they can't produce any space science packs yet. I think it should have the space science pack technology as a prerequisite to make more sense.
