Is there a particular reason for that? Other than just the straight porting to 2.0 I'd made some more changes which you've missed out, that I'd quite like to be made, such as migrating entity/item/recipe names so that they are unified in factoriopedia, remote driving, equipment-grid by default and item requests (tank parity), item sounds, etc, as well as general code cleanup.

Is there a way we can work on this together? I was very happy with the changes I made and was just waiting for snouz to release them, and I'm a little bummed that they've just been overridden. Feel free to reach out on discord if you'd like to chat there instead. It would also be helpful if you could push your changes to GitHub for future collaboration.

sorry i didn't know you had a github project. i can take a look at including your changes or you if you want
i think the biggest change other than including all the api changes was just the new drifting mechanic

Well it isn’t my GitHub project, it’s the GitHub project for this mod :)

Given that I’d done what I believe to be a pretty thorough cleanup of the data stage code (removing things which no longer do anything, consistency, etc), and analysed which new features should be used, my preference would be to use my branch going forward.

I didn’t test the Electric/Laser hovercraft functionality in 2.0 since there was no updated Laser Tanks mod at the time. Would you be willing to apply your laser/electric changes to my branch? And do you have admin access to the github repo generally? Since ArcaniVictus is no longer around I’ve been relying on Snouz for both github merging and mod portal releases, although I don’t think I’ve actually tried reaching out for permissions myself.
