Water is not infinite

Makes water a finite resource. Uses a depth map: each water tile has a depth based on its type. Pumps drain lakes; depleted tiles become land. Refill with outfall pipes and rain

i Make Lava on Vulcanus also Finite

Make lava on Vulcanus deplete in a similar way. Consider doing something similar to other planets in Space Age.

Thanks for your suggestion. I’ll add this point to my feature list. I haven’t given much thought yet to supporting planets other than Nauvis

... and heavy oil on Fulgora, too?

Isn't Fulgora an endless ocean of oil with some islands? Maybe if you landfill it off, but otherwise, the sea would be infinite.

Yes, true. Tons of small islands that you need to "connect" by filling up or with leveled train bridges.

it would be good if you considered the possibility of mod working on all planets, so that all resources could be sucked out and all resources would be finite

Lava on vulcanus has the issue of some specific map structures seemingly trying to mimic active vulcano craters, so while some places would have finite lava, some others would have constantly refilling lava, it could make for a fun challenge making it so you'd need to connect few caldebras (if I'm not mistaken on the name) to have enough constantly refilling lava to never run out.

Fulgora on the other hand is kinda ridiculous , i'd say that custom planet mods would make much more sense, especially mods such as cerys, you know the planet BASED on limited resources and space, it could actually be a good idea to let cerys creator know about this mod cause they feel like they could work quite well in the future
