You can already see all the recipes from the mod in your inventory before unlocking them

Not all of them are visible; only those in the Bioluminescent tab are

I'm not sure how adding tabs works in a technical sense, but I presume either
1. unlocking a new tab may be difficult to do with a mod (outside of just adding it from the start)
2. It's for compatibility so they don't have to add every mod as a bioluminesent version manually in the tech tree unlocks

Other mods can make it so that also tabs are unlocked at the right time, but I understand.
