Discover the wind planet Rubia. Belts and inserters work differently on Rubia, leading to unique building challenges not seen on any other planet. Your whole factory must go with the wind as a never-ending barrage of waste is hurled at your base.

g [Resolved] Factorio V2.1 Compatibility

I just finished the first draft of Rubia's Factorio v2.1 compatibility patch. However, other mods that Rubia depends on are not updated right now.

Additionally, I have not given Rubia a full battery of testing yet (especially with mod compatibility), so expect the first public version of Rubia for Factorio 2.1 to be experimental once I release it.

I gave it another pass to fix mod compat, and more core functions. Everything looks good enough for testing. I’m just going to be waiting on PlanetsLib and RocketCargoInsertion vefore putting it out.

After speaking with a dev on PlanetsLib, we have decided to upload a first draft of Rubia with 2.1 compatibility to the mod portal. You should be able to play it as soon as PlanetsLib becomes available for Factorio 2.1.

I have temporarily set RocketCargoInsertion as recommended, but this might crash the game without it. I can address it shortly.

I put out a hotfix to let Rubia run without RocketCargoInsertion. It will eventually be hard required again.

Getting an issue on 2.1, Rubia 0.69.150. Happens only when loaded with Secretas & Frozeta (v1.0.34 as of writing).

Failed to load mods: File quality/graphics/icons/recycler.png not found

rubia (0.69.150)

I'm guessing that texture is no longer in quality, since Recycler is its own mod now. Not sure if the code responsible for the compatibility is present here or in Secretas & Frozeta, but you have the compat called out on this mod page so I figured I'd drop it here.

Fixed in 0.69.151, out now.
