Thank you for the report. I spoke with protocol (the mod dev), who said:

Tell them to use puppy's, mine is very unrefined and will pull that crash when it cant figure it out

Puppy is a different modder who made another No Trigger tech mod. https://mods.factorio.com/mod/no-triggers . If this doesn't work for you, then I'm afraid Rubia is simply not compatible with protocol's No Trigger mod, as 90% of Rubia's tech tree is made of trigger technologies. I will need to mark it as an incompatibility in the next release.


EDIT: Puppy's does not work either. I forgot we also had that discussion a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, Rubia is simply not compatible with these mods right now, because it does depend on trigger technologies, and these no-trigger mods do not have enough logic in them to prevent other mods from crashing (including but not limitted to Rubia).

For now, we'll need to wait for Puppy/Protocol to figure out some more logic for their no-trigger mods, as it is currently impossible for Rubia to even tell them "Hey, do not touch these critical technologies, or the game will crash."

I've updated no-triggers and it will no longer break Rubia, but it won't stop Rubia using trigger techs either.
