🌐Planet Rubia

Discover the wind planet Rubia. Belts and inserters work differently on Rubia, leading to unique building challenges not seen on any other planet. Your whole factory must go with the wind as a never-ending barrage of waste is hurled at your base.

i [Will not Implement] Technology to allow logistic chests on Rubia

is there any way to fit in the lore some kind of research to unlock logistic chest on rubia , i mean not low tier research but high end high cost to overcome the wind issue ?
few ideas :
-wall to block wind effect ? walls with turbines to protect some areas ?
-specials Scapbots, spidertron small crawling bots ? instead of flying bots ?

and why not adding some tornado events to spice up the situation when you unlock that kind of tech ?

(you have the bots to repair , but the planet can still screw your base) ?

to overcome the wind issue ?

Sorry, but no. I considered it early into development and quickly scrapped it because it really kills what makes Rubia unique. The entirety of Rubia's optional postgame content is structured around making setups that are much more complicated because Rubian trains are the only way to oppose the wind.

wall to block wind effect ? walls with turbines to protect some areas ?

Craptonite walls were originally intended to have a wind-breaking mechanic. I tested this idea last month. A user very quickly figured out how to use wagons + inserters to teleport items left, and then several other degenerate strategies for leftward movement, so I had to scrap it.

specials Scapbots, spidertron small crawling bots ? instead of flying bots ?

This is not possible with Factorio's API. Any automated leftward movement on Rubia must use Rubian trains, and I cannot apply such a restriction to logistic bots because Factorio does not support it.
