Discover the wind planet Rubia. Belts and inserters work differently on Rubia, leading to unique building challenges not seen on any other planet. Your whole factory must go with the wind as a never-ending barrage of waste is hurled at your base.

b [Resolved] Crash when trying to land on space platform

Hi, was trying out the mod, when getting a rocket to my space platform, this error keeps coming up

The mod ā—‹šŸŒPlanet Rubia (0.69.34) caused a non-recoverable error.
Please report this error to the mod author.

Thanks for the report. I'm on it.

EDIT: This is weird. It looks like the code isn't finding my technology for your player, but it is finding it fine for me. 'planetslib-rubia-cargo-drops' is the ingame name of Project Trashdragon.
1) I am not reproducing the bug. Could you give more details of exactly how it is happening to you?
2) Does it happen if you take off other mods?
3) If not, can you confirm that project Trashdragon showing up in your tech tree?

Also if you could provide your save file, that might help me reproduce the bug to fix it.

Hi, Basically what happens is is this crash occurs when I try to land on my space platform to fly on out to Rubia, but this happens just before or immediately as I land in the cargo bay and not before I fly out

I’ll have to double check my mods in a few hours. But I’m pretty sure I have something that overrides Tenebris & Cerys drop pod techs so THAT could be a cause of the issue. If TrashDragon is related to cargo drops, then that’s the first thing I can think of

Will turn that off, but I do have quite a few other mods running, if there’s anything else that could be related to the crash please let me know and I’ll see what mods I have that could be interfering

Edit. I’ll look for TrashDragon tech aswell

A quick test on my SD would indicate that the "Remove all Cargo drop technologies" Mod is the culprit

I have successfully managed to land on Rubia. Will double check on PC when i get home

I see! That will definitely be the cause, as Rubia really relies on this technology to function. Also, I misspoke: I meant Operation Iron Man, not Project Trashdragon. 2 things:

1) That is a very problematic implementation. In general, a mod deleting the technology prototypes of another mod will cause exactly this sort of crash, and I am flabberghasted that it doesn't already wreck your Cerys. Besides the one crash you identified, several other parts of my mod look at Operation Iron Man and its status to know what to do. I'll need to discuss with the guy who made this mod, but he isn't available to do anything until after Memorial day.

2) I am not sure how I feel about that mod on my planet. I know my planet is hard, but being allowed to drop whatever you want onto this planet really ruins this experience. I'll need to think about whether or not I should mark this as an incompatibility, or acknowledge that the whole point of this mod is to cheat and accept it.

For the time being, I recommend you play without the "Remove all Cargo drop technologies" mod.

For now, I marked "Remove all Cargo drop technologies", and it will be in the next version of Rubia. This is a temporary fix, and this incompatibility will likely be removed whenever "PlanetsLib" and/or "Remove all Cargo drop technologies" changes their implementation to allow compatibility.
EDIT: It is live as of 0.69.35
