g Rewards not worth the effort

Hello!

I'm currently playing through Planetaris and I've been loving it so far!
My only complaint is that the two of the rewards, the Electromagnetic Radar and Zero Gravity Accumulator require soooo much effort to get after unlocking the refraction science pack.

Compared to the other vanilla science packs, where, when you unlock the science pack, the next research is a reward, and to craft that reward, you're already 90% there. Like Turbo belts, Cliff explosives, Captivity, Stack Inserters...

For Hystarion's Electromagnetic Radar, after having unlocked Refraction science, I had to:

  • Research 8 technologies
  • Setup Emerald polishing (It's only previous requirement being the rocket silo, which I imported)
  • Craft 2 new buildings, the particle manipulator and refraction plant
  • Setup light collection using fiber cables (seriously, how is this mechanic that is part of Hyarion's identity optional to it's science packs?)
  • Setup unstable gem production, which required revamping my power system due to excess pure light
  • Setup Beryl, Beryl plate, Refractory Ceramics production
  • Craft the space fabricator that can only be crafted in space
  • Setup Bismuth collecting and polishing (which requires an imported fluid handling on a space platform)
  • Setup Bismuth Transistor (which requires new acid production and another imported product: plastic)
  • CRAFT the Electromagnetic Radar

These are frankly a lot of steps for a post-science pack reward, and I feel like some of those mechanics could be moved earlier, especially the light collection!
I honestly HEAVILY considered not doing any of that cause those rewards, the Electromagnetic Radar and the Accumulator were not worth the effort (especially the accumulator since I play with other planets with their own accumulator... that are not locked on platforms. But inter-mod balancing is it's own can of worms)

I would also consider maybe buffing those rewards, and maybe make the other buildings more useful off Hyarion? The particle manipulator is a fantastic looking building and I can use it to... turn coal to stone or carbon...

Other than that, I love how Hyarion interacts with Arig and requires planetary logistics! It's great!

The main reward was the fun along the way, my dude.

Hi, i understand that those recipes are feel ahead of the tech tree compared to the rest and that's because they are next area where i will be expanding planetaris, this was already in my plans when i made them so after Tellus the player needs to continue into the space facilities route, that part works as set up, there will be more uses to the space manufacturer, refraction plants and particle manipulators. Also i just rebalance the entire refraction energy section so now refraction generators receive a big buff.
