Amazing planet by the way, very creative!

As I am advanced in the game, I am trying to accelerate my legendary production. Adding this planets adds a layer for hydrogen filaments and plates to reach legendary advanced weapons (like railguns).

Do you have any tips to reach a good level of production considering that I would need denaturated legendary hydrogen to start, then going all the way to plates and filaments?

I am upcycling rubies and emeries bbut with hydrogen is bit tricky as they would need higher quality of ruby and carbon to recycle the critical denaturated

There is a mod option that disables needing Crucible intermediates for Aquilo recipes.

It's not really viable to get quality hydrogen filament from quality denatured hydrogen, for the reasons you mentioned, and because a bunch of the recipes don't accept quality modules (though this may change once Factorio 2.1 is released because there will be some more flexibility in the modding API, but I digress). Instead you can recycle quantum processors directly, or you can recycle laser lenses (which will also get you quality rubies).

Also, because higher quality pressure forges have more module slots, choosing recipes that can be made in pressure forges can be helpful. A legendary pressure forge has 10 module slots, so with legendary Q3s it gets +62.5% quality (in addition to the base +50% productivity).

I do not think i will disable intermediate products, as the main goal to add planets is to add difficulty.

Anyway, thanks for the tip. I will try to test some upcycling with legendary forges and quality modules as you suggested. Definitely having 10 slot modules will help! I need also to develop more research levels like laser lenses or productivity for gems and see how it goes.

I upcycle laser lenses, works great, 50% prod and 10 module slots helps a ton. Simply recycling is very ineffective, upcycling is generally how you reliably get quality stuff.
