This is probably a compatibility issue related to fluid temperatures. The recipe is expecting 500°C hydrogen. There's compatibility code that's supposed to prevent this from happening, but it's obviously not working here. I'll look into fixing the bug. And maybe I should just remove the temperature condition, because it doesn't really add anything and is always causing compatibility problems.
In the meantime, there should be a recipe that produces 500°C hydrogen from 500°C steam you can use—just make sure not to mix it with hydrogen from other sources, or the temperature will drop.
