g Very fun mod!

The first hydrogen plate spoilage was a bit of a jump scare :).

I'm having a bit of an issue with sulfuric acid production though, mainly due to water. Given that sulfuric acid is required to make water (to make the alum) and water is used to make sulfer and sulfuric acid, the cyclical nature of it makes it really hard to balance. Water is also getting sucked up by power, steam production, and heavy oil processing, then heaps of carbon is required for all the planet-specific production lines (which also needs acid). I can't get consistently working production of everything without shipping in carbon, sulfer, and ice from space. Which is fine, but I'm not sure if this is intended, or I'm just doing something wrong. To be fair I'm more of a "just add more production when I see a problem" player than a "meticulously plan out ratios" player.

Very fun and unique either way, particularly the hydrogen plate production and usage of it.

Oh I forgot to mention, I am also using K2 Spaced Out, but I don't believe it changes the sulfuric acid recipe.

The scarcity of water (and therefore acid) is an intended part of the challenge, and shipping in extra resources from offworld is meant to be one of the options for dealing with it. That's partly the idea behind the high carbon demand; because carbon is relatively expensive on crucible but super cheap elsewhere, it's a high-impact import.

The other "intended" way to deal with the high water demand is to scale up emulsion processing and find a way to void the extra heavy oil. There are a few ways to do this, and it's one of the reasons the planet has lava. The recipes are balanced to err on the side off too much heavy oil, because it's much less annoying to get rid of than excess water.

You can also reduce the demand on water somewhat with modules, especially rigor modules.

Thanks for the tips - I figured the water/acid issues were meant to be a challenge. My emulsion processing is pretty extensive currently (26 pressure forges w/ full tier 3 productivity and tier 3 speed modules, and 30 oil refineries w/ the same, but I could probably do even more.

I ended up upping my carbon/sulfer/ice imports and having my Crucible ferry go back and forth from Gleba once before going back to Nauvis to refill that quicker, and that has gotten me to a point where I can pretty consistently keep everything moving.
