In this Factorio prequel, you're an android terraforming planets and seeding them with life. Replaces all recipes and technology. No life means no coal, oil, wood, biters, or free oxygen, requiring varied renewable energy sources. For reliability, you'll focus on abundant elements from the air, sea, or common minerals such as iron ore, bauxite, sandstone, and calcite. Nullius has built-in techs providing passive bonuses for all of these things, including infinite research. It also has player equipment that provides additional bonuses for most of this stuff. I think adding more tech bonuses beyond what's already there will just make the equipment less useful.

Aha! That makes perfect sense, actually. Thank you, anachrony! I haven't gotten very far, but the grid is already full of wrenches and suitcases. It is just that the QoL Research mod have an explicit mention of Nullius compatibility (from earlier perhaps), so I made it a task for me to make it work properly. I think I'll take it out of my "game of yours", going forward.
