Nullius

In this Factorio prequel, you're an android terraforming planets and seeding them with life. Replaces all recipes and technology. No life means no coal, oil, wood, biters, or free oxygen, requiring varied renewable energy sources. For reliability, you'll focus on abundant elements from the air, sea, or common minerals such as iron ore, bauxite, sandstone, and calcite. Advanced technology enables asteroid mining of rarer elements.

a 1.1 major release warning

The first new major release of Nullius is coming soon, the 1.1.0 release. This will have some changes that may require you to fix some places in your factory. Please read the patch notes before updating. Most notably, chlorine gas will no longer be disposable, and related to that there will be changes to some of the recipes involving calcium chloride. Calcium chloride now has a liquid solution form, which IS disposable, so it's a new method to get rid of excess chlorine without having to neutralize it with caustic solution (which generates more chlorine as a byproduct). Other changes will be to the end game, including the biology systems and a few new mission goals. You don't need to worry about those changes unless you are already in the end game. Additionally some miscellaneous recipe ratios may change, which shouldn't break your factory but could require attention if you have precisely calculated for those exact ratios.

Before a big change like this, I'd suggest you save your game with the old version, and when you save with the new version, use a new save file name. That way you have the option of reverting to the older version of the mod if you run into any problems that you can't deal with.
