Nullius

In this Factorio prequel, you're an android terraforming planets and seeding them with life. Replaces all recipes and technology. No life means no coal, oil, wood, biters, or free oxygen, requiring varied renewable energy sources. For reliability, you'll focus on abundant elements from the air, sea, or common minerals such as iron ore, bauxite, sandstone, and limestone. Advanced technology enables asteroid mining of rarer elements.

g Radar / Cliff Explosives

Radar & Cliff Explosives dont appear to be researchable. Is that the intention?

Radar is renamed to "Sensor node" and comes in multiple tiers - Needs mineral sample, climate sample, mechanical prototype, electrical prototype to research.
Explosives research lets you demolish cliffs, vanilla had it as a separate item/research - Needs mineral sample, climate sample, mechanical prototype, electrical prototype, Chemical sample to research.

There are also differences between sensor nodes and radars. Since there are no biters, they're less of a life and death thing, and more of a quality of life thing. They have a larger radius in which they allow you to view your base remotely (their main purpose here), but a much smaller radius of the map that they scan beyond that. So you don't really use sensor nodes to explore the map like you might use radars. There is a different technology, called exploration for that, where you launch scout drones to explore remote sectors of the map.
