Armoured Biters updated today from 1.2.1 to 2.0.0, breaking dependency requirement of <= 1.2.1, which maybe should be >= 1.2.1?

edit info.json of the mod in your factorio mod folder.

replace
"ArmouredBiters <= 1.2.1",
by
"ArmouredBiters >= 1.2.1",

allow to launch the game , but dont know about impact on the behaviour of the mods.

This fix worked, but now I can't have people easily install the mods for connection. Swapping out all the Overclock modules in everything is going to be an absolute pain.

If more stuff start breaking and 5forsilver doesn't answer after like a year i might continue it. I am a huge star trek fan and i can think of alot of things to do with this mod.

I mean he doesn't respond for 6 months, so I guess he abandoned moddding

The shame about Metal and Stars is that its quite the hulking beast of a mod, with a number of dependancies that don't feel like they need to be there.

Considering when Overclock modules, or a number of other useful tech such as liquid (nuclear) rocket fuel fluids is unlocked and used before travelling to the actual other planets part of Metal and Stars, etc. It would be far nicer to have these as their own modular parts, so when something external breaks, you aren't stuck with half your base wiped/empty of several entities.

Can always fork the mod if need be. I've never even modded before and I'm having Claude Code successfully fix random issues like this with the 60-70 mods I'm running at once. Whatever issues there are (or whatever compatibilities/additions we want) can be done in 10-20 min of effort.

I keep trying to fix it by myself but its useless :(
I miss this mod
