FAQ

When start new world, there is no enemy on the map?

It's likely caused by RSO settings. Please refer to mod-compatiblity doc for details.

Known Issues

  • Peaceful mode does not work with new races.

Enemy is too hard after they level up?

There are a few settings you can adjust.

  1. set "[Level Up] Evolution Point Multiplier" in Map setting to under 1. Lowest is 0.1. "0.1" will take 10x longer to level.
  2. set "Max Level" in Startup setting from 10 to 5.
  3. set "Enemy Strength Multiplier" in Startup setting from 5 to 3.
  4. set "Unit Health Multiplier" in Startup setting from10 to 5.

Setting all of them to the lower values will take away the challenges.

Why "ERM - Terran Units for Players - but easier" is not compatible in 1.22?

The fork was not properly done. Its Terran is also registered as enemy race. It has caused game crashes under certain scenarios, which the author has not fixed. You should use https://mods.factorio.com/mod/erm_terran instead. It now has a cheap mode.

Can I disable air unit? or make it behave like land unit?

No in the newest version. It doesn't behave well with new path finders in 1.21. I have no plan to bring that back.

If you really need it, you can use ERM 1.20.13. It has startup setting to convert air units into land units.
