b Weird interactions with Castra

Unsure if i should report this here, or on the Castra page.

Biter Waves spawn on Castra when they should be limited to Planets that support them. Castra has its own enemies that research tech and have their own Battle Tanks. It might be a weird thing that is occurring since Castra Evo factor grows quickly if allowed.

I find it funny that it even gave them a spawner

My mod spawn enemy waves as well, and there are "builder" units that may build spawners.

I'm not sure what the "weird interactions" is.

Just the fact that the bugs are jumping planets for whatever reason. Planet Castra spawns "Battle Tank" enemies from Data Collectors based on how much data you pollute the area with. There are no biters of any kind on the Planet at all.

If this is intentional I'll take it as such, but I just find it a bit odd that they're spawning here when attack points reach the cap and a wave spawns.

I see. It's a side effect of adding 3rd party enemies to the "enemy" force with my mod. Biter wave from attack points can spawn on any planet which occupied by "enemy" force.

yep, and i'm guessing nothing can be really done about it, Castra's evo factor hits 1.00 way faster then any other planets so the biter waves are ....quite dangerous.

add some gun turrets and wall on top of your current defense will keep them at bay.

I can add it to the ERM planet exclusion list, which ERM functions won't run on those planets. But I don't really want to do that unless it's necessary, like maraxsis or lignumis.

Would it be possible to have us decide on the exclusions through a setting?

technically yes. But I don't have time to add it, since I have other priorities.

You can create your own simple mod by adding the following code to data-update.lua

data.raw['mod-data'][ 'ERM_surface_exclusions'].data['surface_name or planet_name'] = true

ERM will pick up the data and exclude it on runtime.

Ah okay, I understand that priorities are elsewhere. But the mod work around is great actually, thank you!
