i don't want a solution that would lock players in their progression / gameplay and prevents them from fixing their defense (it's not fun), but something needs to be done
The fact you can lose tech progression / tech level (for "non impacting" tech but required for progression, like warp generator) can be a solution.
I was also thinking about consuming energy (empty accumulators, force max energy consumption) / disabling electrified grounds / preventing the usage of harvesters while it's down (it's still only ideas).
And then i need to check what building to setup, starting when (because in the very early, before you have at least unlocked other platforms, it might just be a pain
to players like me that stay only 3 minutes per jump because they don't make enough defenses.
have you considered lowering the pollution in the settings for the early game ?
