It's probably a bug.
Mobile gates do not give (transfer) energy until they are charged.
Perhaps you need to reduce the charging priority of the built-in accumulators of all gates/teleports.
so, actually after some test, it looks like it give power, but it's shared among all gates... i tried putting them as tertiary (like the vanilla accumulator) but it doesn't help...
i'll try some more test to see if I didn't do something wrong while changing
